From the Patisambhidamagga (patisambhidā-; Pali for "path of discrimination") is a Buddhist scripture, part of the Pali Canon of Theravada Buddhism. Tradition ascribes it to the Buddha's disciple Sariputta. It comprises 30 chapters on different topics. This chant and "Sae Sattā Sukhī Hontu" are practiced to develop loving kindness, compassion, and true friendship for the reciter.
